Here I am poised between the Dancing Lady and The Guest, the mural on the side of the Cary Street Cafe in Richmond, Va. This is where Carlisle Montgomery's father Bobby played with his "Bounders & Rogues" and where she performs in an open night mic that recruits upright bass player Weems Shackleford III.
